KidPreneur Camp!

I am hosting KidPreneur Camp, along with Tal Woods, from July 10-14, 2023 and August 14-18, 2023. KidPreneur is a virtual summer camp for your child, and is unlike any other your child has attended.

At KidPreneur Camp, children will be taught about critical thinking, how to build a business, how to understand budgeting and finances, the value of connections, knowledge of entrepreneurship, recognizing opportunities, marketing skills, and how to have a growth mindset.

If you've been following me for the last while, you'll know that I believe that it is important for parents to raise entrepreneurial children. There are many opportunities these days for a person to be successful by thinking outside of the box. Children need to learn what public school is not teaching: money management, skills for business success, and communication proficiency.

The first week (July 10-14) will feature lessons and activities focused on the mindset and required skills for entrepreneurs. There will also be plenty of time for campers to interact and form friendships.

This is where the children will learn how to build quality connections. They will understand how to view business with a growth mindset instead of a scarcity mindset. We intend to help them build their confidence and believe in what they can do if they are willing to be disciplined enough to put in the time and hard work.

We will also teach campers the importance of recognizing opportunities and how to make the best of what is presented to them. Beyond that, we teach them how to prepare for those great opportunities to come.

The second week (August 14-18) will focus on campers practicing all of their abilities including presentations, pitches, interviews and much more! At the end of the week we will have a private networking event with participation from other business owners and adults, including the parents of our campers!

This is where the students will get to use the skills that they have learned. We want the children in our program to feel competent and capable in their business ideas. For them to communicate confidently, they have to believe in the potential they carry. We aim to help them realize how incredibly smart, creative, independent, and unique they really are.

In these two weeks, your child will have the opportunity to hone the skills they have and better their understanding of what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

The cost for our educational summer camp is $200 for one week, or $300 for both weeks.

Here at Star Students we want to give your child an education that they can be confident in. Our facilitators are experienced, and prepared to share quality learning with your child in an environment that is open for questions, practice, and creative ideas. Children will be treated with respect, and taught with an expectation that they can put the lessons into practice and be successful not only in their businesses, but in their lives.

As with all our programs, we do our best to ensure that we are transparent with our curriculum and use of the virtual platform that we are working with. Our first priority is the safety and confidence of the children in our program and we always make our decisions with them in mind. Star Students is committed to offering quality education to all students who enter our programs.
